IN THIS LESSON

Verse 14 of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra’s.

“It is only when the correct practice is followed for a long time, without interruptions and with a quality of positive attitude & eagerness, that it can succeed.”

Sadhana shifts our perspective, broadens our awareness and awakens our consciousness our higher & greater self. It awakens us to the fact that within us all is an immortal & eternal essence. full of knowledge bliss & truth” Kundalini Tantra - Swami Satyananda Saraswati

  • Start small, with an accessible & manageable practice and gradually increase the duration and intensity as your capacity builds

  • Discipline and commitment are key in the early stages of Sadhana.

  • You must commit to your chosen practice and adhere to a routine.

  • Make a space where you practice.

  • Find a corner in your living space and make a little altar.

  • Pop some candles or anything that is special or sacred to you. Creating this space is key. If you can, it's nice to have the altar in the East, but not a requirement.

There are some schools of thought that say it takes 21 days of consecutive practice to make a habit.

At the beginning stage it is also not to beat yourself up or get demoralised if you miss a day. It's completely normal to miss a day.

Just get back on the mat the next day.

It’s a commitment—a commitment to foster spiritual growth by practising self-discipline and devotion.

A daily Sadhana is the anchor that grounds us in our spiritual practice, preventing us from drifting away amidst the ebbs and flows of life’s currents.
